No, you do not need a residence permit for a vacation on Bonaire. Tourists have up to 90 days per 180 days free access to Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba. This means that no residence permit is required for that period.

🏝 How big is Bonaire?

In terms of land area, Bonaire is one and a half times the size of the Wadden Island of Texel and has an area of 294 square kilometers. The island is 38.5 kilometers long and, at its widest, a maximum of 8 kilometers.
